FEB. 10 - Rock Soul Bassist is Joining the Jam to Fight Hunger in San Felipe

Bassist and singer Abraham Luevano will be joining the jam and fight against hunger on FEBRUARY 10 at La Ventana Del Mar Resort at El Dorado's La Palapa Bar & Grill. Abraham has been in music his whole life but became serious 12 years ago when he picked up the guitar and teaching himself how to play guitar. Then after 8 years of playing, he began playing in bands. He was the bassist for the Isaac Diaz Band for more than 2 years, until forming his own band Rock Soul, over a year ago. "I've got the best bandmates you could ask for", says Abraham.

Abraham's favorite style of music is rock, especially classic rock, but he enjoys playing all kind of music, including of course....the Blues. "Blues is music with passion and feelings in it. My band and I enjoy playing the blues a lot".

As Abraham put it "music is just amazing no matter it's genre". He plays music because it's one of the things that he likes the most and as he put it "it really satisfies my soul. It's like my weekly therapy. I do it for the joy, it gives me". He feels the best part of playing music, in his opinion, is that you get a very special connection with the audience and with your bandmates, especially while improvising.

"I don't expect to make a living with the music (even I would love to), so my goal is to keep playing for the rest of my life. For 5 people or 5000. Thanks and congratulations the Sweet Sixx band for making this possible.
