San Felipe is on Fire!

302 lbs/145 kilos of food raised on Sunday 9-January. Thank you, San Felipe, for helping BAHS feed families each week, filling bellies that truly need filling. Muchas, muchas gracias.

A big thank you to San Felipe Brewing staff, they rock it! Taking care of everyone & of course great beer makes the day better. The wind was kind to us and Palaco Blues Funked it up. 

"Palaco Blues" is an original project that began in September 2014 in order to create original music without maintaining a specific genre ... simply create with influences from each of the members. The result is a fusion of Blues, Funk and Rock reinforced with an accompaniment and harmonica solos, thus creating the characteristic sound of the band based in Mexicali Baja California Mexico.

The supportive BAHS Jammers came out creating great LIVE BLUES MUSIC! Thank you to Kike, Bobby Tee, Brian on drums and Dave on Harmonica. Also, Tharoon prepared authentic Jamaican food for the meat and plant lovers.                                 

On Wednesday, BAHS Board members Joyce and Kathy bought chicken, eggs and veggies for an additional 131 pounds = 433 pounds of food donated this week... that is almost 217 meals! All delivered to Volunteer without Limits, Men's Christian rehab and to Miguel with ACIFAC. Additional Tharoon helped to delivered out to the men's rehab.
