Living the Blues at The Office in Concord CA

Come out for a night of blues, beverages and a good time at The Office Cocktail Lounge at 1796 Willow Pass Rd. in Concord CA on Sept 27, from 5-7pm. The blues duo Wild Pack Band will be performing to help collect food for the The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. The event is FREE, however they are asking for a non-perishable food donation (can goods and dried goods are best).

The Office Cocktail Lounge is a friendly, fun and lively little neighborhood bar!. Come out and enjoy delicious drink specials, raffles, and the blues music The Sweet n’ Lowdown Show. A duo that combines old school blues classics with a heavy blues rock sound of the 1960’s and 1970’s. “We’re sort of a fun rockin’, beer drinkin’, booty shakin’ blues”, says bassists Sweet.

“This is a great time for this event because food banks are in need,” said John Pack, Director, Blues Against Hunger. “Statistically, donations are much lower over the summer months forcing many
families and elderly to turn to food banks and donations for help. This event is a great way to help provide much needed food for families while giving the locals a fun and inexpensive way to be exposed to blues music and help their community.”

The Blues Against Hunger is a community outreach campaign, bringing people together to address human needs and transform lives. Please donate to your local food bank, or visit BLUESAGAINSTHUNGER.ORG to find a food bank near you.
