JUNE 17 - Blues Bob & Loopy Blues Band in Goleta

BLUES BOB & THE LOOPY BLUES BAND will be joining the Blues Against Hunger at M. Special Brewing in Goleta, California on June 17th at 6:30PM.

Blues Bob is a One-Man Blues Band. Born and raised on the east coast, Bob started playing the guitar in the early 1960's and hasn't stopped yet! Moving to the Detroit area in 1969, he was "bitten by the blues bug" while attending many performances of the great blues artists who were still working the mid-west region. Listening, studying, watching and constantly practicing driving his family crazy, he eventually developed his own sound.

Relocating to the west coast in 1981, Bob has been performing in several blues bands in Santa Barbara county. Now he is playing regularly as a one-man blues band called "BLUES BOB & THE LOOPY BLUES BAND".

Some of Bob's influences include Albert King, Freddie King, BB King, Elmore James, Magic Sam, Otis Rush, Jimmy Reed, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Hubert Sumlin, Robert Lockwood Jr., Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, John Lee Hooker, Luther Allison, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.
