JUNE 14 - VISTA: Guitarist Phil D. Diiorio Joins the Jam to Fight Hunger


Brewers & Blues Against Hunger is pleased to announce singer and guitarist Phil D. Diiorio of Phil Diiorio Band will be joining the jam on Wednesday, June 14 to Fight Hunger and Preserve the Blues in Vista California.




Phil grew up in Rhode Island listening to guitar players like Duke Robilard and Ronnie Earl of Roomful of Blues fame. Phil moved to Virginia in 1986 where he along with his bandmates was selected to the International Blues Competition in Memphis Tennessee.

After that, he started a 20 year run with his band Beale Street, also performing on the stage with The Nighthawks, Bob Margolin, Papa Chubby, Dibbie Davies, and many others. Phil relocated to San Diego in 2006. Where he is working on his solo project a blend of Funky Blues Rock.

Phil has a uniqie style of guitar playing that is really fun to watch and hear his vocal renditions of rock and blues standards are accurate and personal.
