Blues Against Hunger Society, along with Cerveceria Surf Sushi Pub, presents “The Sunday Blues Jamboree!” to fight hunger in Rosarito Beach.
ROSARITO BEACH, BAJA CALIFORNIA (April 23, 2018) – The Blues Against Hunger Society’s “Sunday Blues Jamboree!”, a live music series hosted by Sweet Sixx and Wild Pack Band, begins on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Cerveceria Surf Sushi Pub in Rosarito Beach. This family-friendly event includes live music by both regional and international blues and jazz performers every on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Admission is FREE with any non-perishable food donation.
The concert is part of the 2018 Blues Against Hunger Society’s “Sunday Blues Jamboree! music series tour, an international blues music food drive campaign of Blues Against Hunger Society (BAHS), an organization dedicated to feeding the hungry through the preservation and promotion of blues music.
The Blues Against Hunger event is FREE to the public. Everyone is invited to donate non-perishable food items to support the effort to fight hunger in Rosarito Beach. "We learned how music and meals can heal." said Sweet Rachel, of Sweet Sixx, "Now it seems it’s all we want to do; we love the blues and the reward of doing what you love while help others are overwhelming. The goal is to fill the community food banks, fight hunger while sharing our passion for blues.”
The Blues Against Hunger Society has been producing blues jam food drives since 2014. The Blues Against Hunger Society has helped provide thousands of meals across the Western United States and Mexico. “We’re growing each year, however, each year it seems there is an even greater need,” said Sweet Rachel, “we want to get everyone involved - the more musicians and fans we can get involved the fewer people go hungry. Please help fight hunger and preserve blues music. Music and meals can heal, and you can be part of it too!"
