Michele, Often described as "Janis Joplin meets Bonnie Raitt," Michele Lundeen is a powerful, soulful singer and entertainer blending classic and contemporary blues, Memphis groove, jump swing, sultry jazz, and funky soul into a satisfying musical stew! Reaching into the audience with emotional vocals and body language, she’s been dubbed "The Queen of Steam" for her vocal and stage presence. She does command attention and enjoys including the audience in an entertaining, musical romp!

Michele has been honored to share stages with dozens of national Blues-Rock acts from John Lee Hooker to Sugaray Rayford to Charlie Musselwhite to Kim Wilson and more. She’s also performed at dozens of national and regional festivals, concerts and music events including the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, Gator By The Bay, San Felipe Blues & Arts Fiesta and the Cincy Winter Blues Fest among others.
A 12x San Diego Music Award “Best Blues” nominee, she also represented Blues Lovers United of San Diego (BLUSD) at the International Blues Challenge (IBC). Michele’s 12 track CD, Song Inside Me, was a San Diego Music Award “Best Blues Album” nominee plus voted on of the “Best Self-Produced CD” Final Four in Blues Foundation’s (IBC). Michele is also the editor of the Blues Festival e-Guide and a music educator with Blues Lovers United of San Diego for their Blues in The Schools program and Youth Blues Camp.
