Message from San Felipe BAHS Director Charlie Martin San Felipe Chapter is still hard at work. With donations from the Easter Bluesathon, we went shopping and we bought 100 pounds each of beans, rice, potatoes, also flour, oil, tomato puree, milk, tuna, onions, and 2 cases of corn for a total of 560 pounds - donated to Volunteers Without Limits . We are continuing to receive food donations from people as they head North to their US homes for the summer.  Since Jan 1. 2020 San Felipe has now raised a total to 6211 pounds of food. Dear BAHS Members. On May 3, 1PM, the first Sunday in May Blues Against Hunger Society will launch BAH TV, a blues music channel that will broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The channel is LIVE NOW, with very limited content. We are not promoting it, or distributing it broadly until the May 3 launch. In the meantime we will be adding and building the programming during the time we are live....no better way to test B-) The goal of the channel is to expand our audience by creating relationships around the world. We will continue to grow our memberships, our chapters, and our partnerships with those that have their boots on the ground in food banks, charitable kitchens, and orphanages. Help us continue sharing our mission to produce live blues events that encourage the collection and distribution of non-perishable food to those in need. The event helped BAHS continue its mission to fight hunger with the blues and to continue supporting its community partners.  The event raised the  funds necessary  to purchase food for community partners in each community a  BAHS chapter  serves.  One such partner is Hearts of Baja (www.heartsofbaja.com), a 501(c)(3) organization that provides support to 23+ orphanages in Rosarito, Baja California.  The Rosarito Chapter of BAHS has had Hearts of Baja as a community partner since 2018.
