YEAR-END: Blues Against Hunger Society (BAHS) 2020
When 2020 started Blues Against Hunger Society (BAHS) were breaking new ground, new chapters and feeding more! Then the world was hit with the Covid-19 pandemic and the live music events stopped and with it everything BAHS did to raise food for hungry families. However, with the quick action of all the board members, the BAHS members and friends we rallied and exceeded the 26,574 pounds of food raised in 2019. THANK YOU, you all raised a total of 35,917 pound of food in 2020, that’s 9343 pounds more. Without live music jamborees the BAHS memberships have decreased significantly with zero growth in 2020.
