JESBER Van Page joins the Jamboree this Weekend!

  JESBER Multi-instrumentalist, multi-faceted composer. Since he was a child he showed great concern for Music. He started in the guitar universe at the age of 16, learning in a self-taught way. By chance he was a neighbor of a prestigious guitar factory, a stage where with factory waste he put together his first electric guitar "Stella" Jesber is characterized by his eclecticism and instinctive technique that ranges from wildness to a delicate sound, calm but at the same time complex. At his young age, he has worked in various projects, with many of the best musicians from Northwest Mexico and Southern California in turn performing on numerous stages, standing out for their virtuosity and wide range of different genres. He is currently serving as a session musician. 416 Pounds / 188 Kilos - Rosarito Great Job!

It was only the 3rd Rosarito Chapter Blues Against Hunger Jam yesterday and it was a great success. 416 pounds / 188 kilos of food donated by Rosarito - Great job! All the food will go to Hearts of Baja charity. Steve and his staff at Mata Ashta Restaurant in San Anontio Del Mar did a wonderful job and the rain stayed away, thank you Mother Nature for giving us a sunny day.  Rosarito BAHS Jammers came out for the BAJS Jamboree. At one point we had 6 guitarists on stage. Thank you to the jammers this week: Alan Walker Hafid Herandez Tino Mendoza Mopar Murry Tim the drummer Zebra Night Thank you to BAHS's specials guest Derek Wille on keyboard, guitar, and bass. Of course thank you the host band Sweet Sixx and the Wild Pack; Sixx, Sweet, Miguel Korsa, Phillip Singletary, and Kasudi on Drums, all held the groove for this Bluesy Day. Blues, Food and Romance in La Salina!

Happy Monday everyone!!!   Well, Mother Nature tried to dampen our spirits on Saturday, but she apparently doesn’t know us very well!!!   The surprise showers just led us to dancing in the rain, raffling in the rain and Blues in the rain too!!!  It was, as always, a great day.  And we had a 50 year marriage vow renewal as a bonus.  Our heartfelt congratulations once again to lovebirds George and Mary Beth Burdette.   Here is what the groom had to say: “To all the volunteers in La Salina BAHS Jamboree. Our Greatest thanks for all you did to include our Anniversary celebration in the BAHS Jamboree. We had a great day and made some terrific memories. You guys did so much to meet our every need THANK YOU!” Our La Salina Chapter hit our own special milestones this weekend.  We collected 442 lbs. of donated food on Saturday alone, and our year-to-date total is 3,394 pounds.  That is a whole lot of food, making a whole lot of difference to our wonderful ...
