The Mama Bear's Monday Meatloaf Jam in Punta Banda, Ensenada is becoming the weekly community gathering of music and blues lovers. Monday August 15 was a great time had by all, with special guests Hola Soy Lola Blues Band from Tijuana, and Holly Avilla, supported by Lola and Stephanie Blues. Blues fans from Rosarito Beach created a caravan and came by the carload...What a great bunch of music lovers! The event was hosted by Wild Pack, and Tsunami Band, with Tsunami playing a special set. Mama Bear's Meatloaf Jam seems to just keep getting more and more popular, and last night was another epic party on the patio. The music featured Wild Pack, Tsunami Band and Special Guests from Tijuana the Hola Soy Lola Blues Band.

Thanks to JL Blues Project  a nd LOS CORSARIOS DEL BLUES band from Mexico City, they will be performing and jamming at the BLUES AGAINST HUNGER FESTIVAL  Sunday Aug 21, 2016  at La Marina de Baja Cove in Punta Panda. THIS IS A FREE CONCERT. We will be accepting food donations for the hungry. Los Corsarios del Blues is a band founded in 2013 in Mexico City. Their debut was at Polanco Jazz Festival in April 2014. They have participated in festivals in and outside Mexico City, alternating with artists such as Armando Palomas, Real de Catorce, Javier Batiz, Rafael Catana, among others. Miguel Korsa (current guitarist of the legendary band Real de Catorce) was responsible for bringing the remaining four pieces that give life to the group.
