For Immediate Release Blues Against Hunger Society, along with Cerveceria Surf Sushi Pub, presents “The Sunday Blues Jamboree!” to fight hunger in Rosarito Beach. ROSARITO BEACH, BAJA CALIFORNIA (April 23, 2018) – The Blues Against Hunger Society’s “Sunday Blues Jamboree!”, a live music series hosted by Sweet Sixx and Wild Pack Band, begins on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Cerveceria Surf Sushi Pub in Rosarito Beach . This family-friendly event includes live music by both regional and international blues and jazz performers every on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Admission is FREE with any non-perishable food donation.

Jayna began playing guitar as a teenager in the early 70's. Her favorite artists range from Patsy Kline and Hank Williams to Elvis, 60's Motown and the Rock scene of the 70's.  She played bass guitar for 2 dance bands in the 90's and now mostly rocks out in her bedroom.    Come to support Jayna and Blues Against Hunger (www.bluesagainsthunger.org/) on Apirl 22, 2018 from 1PM-4PM at  La Palapa Bar & Grill  in  La Ventana del Mar ,  El Dorado Ranch Be sure to bring a non-perishable, non-expired food donation. Jayna will be sharing her passion for his music and helping the community. Ruben Duran Romo will be performing for Blues Against Hunger on Sunday, April 22, from 1-4PM at La Palapa Bar & Grill for the Sunday Jamboree! The young Mexican guitarist spends most his working time landscaping at a golf resort and or doing small electronic projects or musical equipment repair. But since 5 years ago, his free time is split between his playing guitar and family. The 28-year-old guitarist is married with two children and still finds time to rehearse and perform with his first and only band Rock Soul.  Rock Soul is a popular San Felipe Baja classic rock 4-piece band and Ruben is the only guitarist. Ruben said he began playing the guitar because he liked the "feeling of the instrument", and continues in a slow thought-out English response, "how it can make the audience feel". Ruben has performed for Blues Against Hunger Society food drive jams several times. His favorite band and biggest influence is Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double-Trouble...

Wonderful food donations and a contribution to support Volunteers without Limits. Plus a crowd with such incredible energy and dance moves :-) Love ya all! Muchas gracias! PLUS, Oh My, Oh My! The jammers were on it! They were incredible with Phillip Singletary of Suns of Beaches on Sax, he laid down the smooth sounds, Ruben Duran Romo of Rock Soul on guitar really tore it up, and Mike Sisco of Rock Cats on keyboards is like having an orchestra behind us, and my Sweet Rachel of Sweet Sixx and Wild Pack on bass, Rockin' Ron Rando of Chicago and myself Sixx Pack on guitar and vocals.
