Derek Wille is special guest this Weekends Baja Jamborees. Derek Wille is a MYNDSTREAM recording artist, composer, performer and producer. He has worked for over 30 years as an internationally known musician who has contributed and produced hundreds of recordings for other artists. Derek’s emotionally evocative sound is his musical signature. Learning and living music from inside the LA and D.C. jazz scene, Derek experimented and developed an authentic musical voice. His distinct humor, compassion and sensitivity infuse in his compositions. The BAHS La Salina Chapter is very excited to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of two of it's most active members, George and Mary Beth Burdette. You did this!!! You and you and you!!! We are grateful beyond words for your continued support and generosity. To date, we have collected 2,952 pounds of food!!!!!!    Next Saturday’s Jamboree will put us over the 3,000 pound mark. Think about that. It would never happen without you fine, caring people (who, incidentally, love fabulous food, drink and music!).  Saturday’s Jamboree was so much fun!! We also thank our amazing, talented jammers, and the fabulous Soy Lola Blues Band.  The weather was gorgeous, our wonderful servers did an excellent job, so many people got their dance on and the raffles were, as usual, part of the fun.  Our raffle angels this week were: La Salina BAHS Chapter (gift baskets) La Salina Cantina (gift certificate) Splash Restaurant (gift certificate) Connie Price-Panthen (painted flasks) Our local vendors (blanket and wood carving) The good news is we get to do it all again this coming Saturday!!  See you at La Salina Cantina K-73 f...

Las Damas de La Salina Helping Hands was started 2004. The mission is to help our neighbors who were in need. After a false start with individuals, we ladies voted to help start the Primary School in Ursalo Galvan, grades K thru 6th. The school district in Ensenada said there needed to be at least 24 children in order for the district to supply the teacher, supplies & food for breakfast & lunches. It wasn't until about 4yrs later that the Ensenada D istrict helped w ith more than just the teacher. La Damas supported the school until then. The Ursalo Galvan Food Bank was started about 2014. There was a severe lack of work then and our neighbors were in need. While the food bank in Santa Anita/ LA Mision was up and running , several of our neighbors didn't have transportation to go there. Working with Santa Anita , Las Damas started the food bank. We had fund raisers, pot lucks & raffles. The monies gathered there were used to buy food which we distributed once ...

Rosarito YOU DID IT AGAIN! You raised 376 pounds (171 Kilos) on July 11, 2021 at Mata Ashta Restaurant. This will feed many Families and The Rosarito BAHS Chapter is so grateful beyond words for your continued support and generosity. THANK YOU! The San Felipe BAHS Chapter is helping "Better Together" during the hot summer days with 67 pounds to feed the home bound seniors. Thank you for your donation it helps to eat those in need during months that the San Felipe BAHS Jamboree are not happening. San Felipe Get Ready, NOVEMBER the San Felipe BAHS Jamborees will return!
