Sunshine Division - FREE Food & Clothing Assistance for 94 Years! Since 1923, the Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division has been providing food and clothing relief to Portland families and individuals in need. Whether due to the loss of a job, domestic crime, illness, or victims of fire or disaster, the Sunshine Division has built a 94-year legacy of mobilizing quickly and efficiently to assist distressed Portlanders. The Buffalo Gap Saloon & Eatery in Portland Oregon is hosting the Brewers and Blues Jam fight against hunger on SATURDAY - JULY 29, 2017. FREE to the public, arrive early to get a seat. The show starts at 9PM, all food donations go to the Sunshine Division. DID YOU KNOW?  That $10 can buy 40 lbs of food = 30 meals.

The Buffalo Gap Saloon & Eatery in Portland Oregon is hosting the Brewers and Blues Jam fight against hunger on SATURDAY - JULY 29, 2017. FREE to the public, arrive early to get a seat. The show starts at 8:00 PM, all food donations go to the  Portland Police Bureau  Sunshine Division. All Brewers & Blues Against Hunger Jams are FREE to the public. Everyone is invited to bring non-perishable food donations for the Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division.  The 2017 Brewers & Blues Against Hunger Tour is a special BLUES JAM with the host band "Sweet Sixx and The Wild Pack" all musicians and jammers are WELCOME to come out to play the BLUES to help the community. JULY 27: LONGVIEW - Eric Branch Has Joined The Fight Against Hunger

Eric Branch will join  us in LONGVIEW, OR on THURSDAY - JULY. 27, 2017, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM at Ashtown Brewing Company for some rockin' of blues music, great ales, a good cause. In Washington, 1 in 8 people struggles with hunger. Help us Help feed those in need, all the food donation will go to CAP of Washington. Eric Branch is a drummer of 36 years. Born and raised in Sacramento California where he started playing drums at 12 years old.  His first band he was in was during his freshman year of high school and has been playing ever since.

Today there are over 1,100 community action programs across the nation, including 31 in Washington State, who carry on the legacy by helping people achieve their dreams for a better life. Basic to the philosophy of community action is that community identifies and work together to solve their most pressing problems.
