MONDAY NIGHT BLUES AGAINST HUNGER JAMBOREE at Aztec Brewing in Vista is going to be epic, not only because the blues is incredible, but because we are also going to raise a truckload of food for the SD Food Bank. The 2nd Annual Blues Against Hunger Jamboree at Aztec Brewing this Monday, Sept 9, 2019, will be something not to miss. Jack is one lucky guy! Wins a brand new Fender Stratocaster signed by Tab Benoit  Proceeds from the guitar raffle was donated to Hearts of Baja to purchase additional food. The guitar was donated by Jeff Beeler. Rosarito Beach, you should be very proud. Your community raised 13,290 pounds of food (6028 kg) in one season. Last year Rosarito raised 5000 pounds and this year you doubled it. Muchas gracias to Hearts of Baja and the army of humanitarians it takes to get to food to the children and families that need it. Muchas gracias to everyone that gave and made it possible; to Vista Hermosa Resort and staff for being so incredible; to all the amazing and giving guest artists all season; to the amazing Wild Pack band that worked so hard and played so well; to our awesome Volunteers that never missed a day and to every that supports Blues Against Hunger Society. The 2019 Blues Against Hunger Jamboree photo gallery by Jeff Beeler. The event was the grand finale for the Rosarito Beach Jamboree Music Series featuring Brigitte Rios Purdy as special guest and performance by Michele Lundeen. The season raised 13,970 pounds of food for Heart of Baja, a non-profit serving 23+ orphanages, homes, families in the northwest Baja region.  The BAHS Jamboree series featured many San Diego and Southern California blues artists, and Baja blues artists every week for 22 weeks, an average of 635 lbs of food per show.  You can also be part of giving hunger the blues by Joining Blues Against Hunger Society today for only $20 per year.
