Blues Against Hunger had a wonderful jamboree this Sunday Sept. 5, 2021 at Mata Ashta in San Antonio Del Mar. The weather was wonderful and a lot of dancing was going on. THANK YOU for the 130 lbs./59 Kilos of food was donated by attendees. This food will be distributed through the Feeding Rosarito organization.  The music was really awesome. Hosted by Sweet Sixx and the Wild pack. Muchas gracias to Phillip Singletary, Miguel Korsa, Alan Walker. Drummer Luis Corro from Mexico City. And our Guest Conley M. Broome. Also Hafid Hernandez, Socrates Ortiz, Arturo Cardenas and Shaba (originally from Hungary and now lives in Ensenada) There were too many guitars on stage at a point. It’s really wonderful how so many are coming from all over.  We had great raffles including: ABC Pizza-1 med, 1 topping pizza  Palmar Paradise-1 day admission for 2 people El Gaucho Argentinio-200 pesos offf 400peso purchase The Shack-$20 Fluid Brewery-$5 off purchase of $10 Delliot’s/Max’s Smoke Shac...

You just never know when you will find yourself part of a family.  Our BAHS Jamborees have created the most wonderful family of generous, caring, Blues-loving people and we are so proud to have taken all of you on this important journey.  With only one Jamboree left this season we are literally 6 pounds of food away from 5,000 POUNDS!!!   Just think about the enormity of that, and how many hungry neighbors have been fed with your kindness.  But it ain’t over till it’s over!!!!  Let’s really kick it into gear for our last Saturday Jamboree!!   We can do it!!!!!!! Special thanks to our guest band Bloodshot!  They made the trip from Punta Banda and were just stellar!  Rachel, Sixx, Miguel, The Wild Pack and all of the talented jammers were as incredible as ever.  See Photos from the BAHS Day - PHOTOS We collected 238 pounds of donated food this week and it will be going to the La Mision Children’s Fund.   It just makes us so proud!!!  It is on!!  The 7th annual Summer of Love. September 18th KM73 at the infamous  Cantina La Salina . Drum circle led by our own Victor Field begins at 6:00 pm until sundown. Groovy tunes to dance on the beach patio by Bloodshot and our favorite DJ Mixx Yiyodj. The cantina will be serving up their famous carnitas and the usual menu will be available. Please bring a non perishable food item. Party with a purpose. Raffles, costumes, music and food, it going to be far out man.
