Another AMAZING BAHS JAMBOREE in the rear view mirror, and it was exciting on so many levels!!!  First of all, a humongous thank you to wonderful Isidro and the Vista Hermosa Resort for giving us a home!!!  We absolutely LOVE ❤️ being there.  It’s our happy place!!! It was a BONANZA of donated food!!!  Specials thanks to Wendel Jenkins,  Lana Fauskin, and Roland Colanggo for bringing in the BIG Boxes! We collected a whopping 540 lbs. of gorgeous food!! That’s a QUARTER OF A TON  going to Hearts of Baja to be distributed to over 25 orphanages. PLUS San Felipe collected 551 lbs., going to Volunteer Without Limits,  ACIFAC and Men’s Christian Rehab Center.  Nobody should EVER go hungry!! Music and Meals Heal!!  Our Year To Date food donated total is 14,568 lbs. and we’re not done yet!!!!  We need 432 lbs. this Sunday to reach 15,000 POUNDS!   WE CAN DO IT WITH YOUR HELP!!!.  ❤️ Bring 20 pounds and get 3 FREE Raffle...

Bev Wilburn of La Mision Children's Fund Food Bank IT TAKES BAHS COMMUNITY PARTNERS to GIVE HUNGER THE BLUES!! La Mission Children's Fund founder Bev Wilburn tell how Blues Against Hunger helps ensure families get feed even when there is empty shelves. BAHS and La Mission Food Bank continues to GIVE HUNGER THE BLUES. Blues Against Hunger Society works in collaboration with a variety of community partners, the boots on the ground. BAHS Community Partner are essential to BAHS's mission of ending hunger in the communities we serve through music. We spend $300 dlls per city each month - PLEASE Donate to help feed families . The food bank in La Mision provides basic food to over 500 families a month, in 2016 we served 55 families; provide rice, beans, pasta, flour, tomato sauce, oil, and two pounds of frozen chicken.
