Mercedes Moore had the audience's attention in Vista for the BAHS Food Drive Jamboree for San Diego North County Food Bank. Together with nearly 50 other musicians they raised approx. 443lbs. (369 meals) of non-perishable food. Mercedes rules the room at BAHS Jamboree in Vista at Aztec Brewing and kept them wanting more after her set with other jamming musicians. Chet Cannon of Chet Cannon and the Committee was in the house without his committee. Instead he was backed by an all-star lineup of San Diego blues monsters. These cats knock'd em dead and Mr. Cannon brought the Brass at BAHS Jamboree in Vista at Aztec Brewing on September 9, 2019

THANK YOU VISTA AND SAN DIEGO BLUES The Blues Against Hunger Society's All-Star Jamboree at Aztec Brewery in Vista California on Sept. 9, 2019 to benefit San Diego North County Food Bank. The number of artists exceeded 50 and provided incredible blue for more than 5 hours. Thank you all. Aztec Brewery is one of the finest small music clubs we've played. Great room, awesome beer and good peeps all the way. Together we gave hunger the blues in a big way and all donations overflowed the barrels provided and filled the venue office (approx. 443lbs. / 369 meals were raised). Thank you  for the incredible performances, which included house band Sweet Sixx and Wild Pack with Ric Lee on drums, as well as performances by Chickenbone Slim (Larry Teves), Michele Lundeen, Mercedes Moore, Chet Cannon, Mopar Murray, Reagan Williams, Geza Keller, Jeff Snail, CC Blues, Andrew Galleher with uncredible lineup of musicians backing every fronting artist including Rachel Pack, Mike Kirkpa...

Blues Against Hunger Society is excited to have Ric Lee, Band leader and drummer for the Bayou Brothers from San Diego bringing his sticks and will be host drummer at BAHS Vista Jam at Aztec Brewing tomorrow. Ric Lee is a direct descendant of Confederate General Robert E. Lee and is from a very southern musical family steeped in the tradition of Americana and Cajun music. Ric started playing drums at the age 10 years old. He made his own drumsticks out of scrap wood and began learning how to play drums. Ric is now seen performing with his band and is often backing so many great blues artists throughout the region. Additionally, Ric has performed for BAHS in Baja on numerous occasions and appeared for BAHS in Rosarito with Michele Lundeen in 2018. Sweet Sixx, and BAHS are very excited to have an opportunity to perform with Ric once again.
