JUNE 20 - All Donations From The Ojai Deer Lodge go to FOOD Share of Ventura County

FOOD Share of Ventura County works hard to maintain the many wonderful partnerships within the community to feed our hungry. How FOOD Share Works. FOOD Share distributes millions of pounds of healthy food every year both through our own programs such as FOOD Share and Friends mobile pantry, Senior Brown Bag Program, and Kids’ Farmers’ Market, as well as through distribution via our partner agencies.

1 - FOOD Share’s partnerships within the ag community, neighborhood backyards, and generous contributions allow FOOD Share to procure quality and nutritional valuable food.
2 - FOOD Share processes donated and purchased food with the help of hundreds of volunteers at our warehouses located in Oxnard.
3 - From FOOD Share’s warehouses, pantry coordinators collect the needed food for their distributions and take them to the many locations in Ventura County.
4 - Food is then distributed through the 190 pantry locations and programs to hungry families, seniors, and children!

Join us at The Ojai Deer Lodge (Established in 1932) on JUNE 20, 2017 at 9:00 pm - 12:00 am; This location has been through many transformations, from a gas station and general store to a culinary haven and rockin’ music venue. The Brewers & Blues Tour are going to turn it into a JUKE JOINT to support the community. Join us for blues and brews, more than 20 on tap. Do not forget to bring a non-perishable food donation.
