BAHS Needs Your Help Reaching 27,000 Pounds

PLEASE READ THIS.  August 1st is International Blues Day. On this day last year, Blues Against Hunger Society had raised 14,000 pounds of food to feed the children and elderly in our communities. By Dec 31, 2020 we raised 27,000 pounds for the year. As we all know, there is NO LIVE MUSIC now and our last LIVE Blues Against Hunger Society (BAHS) Jamboree was March 8, 2020, in San Felipe.

However, with the help of our members, and folks in each community we have still raised 20,590 POUNDS OF FOOD so far this year. OUR GOAL IS TO REACH LAST YEARS TOTAL BY AUGUST 1st of 27,000 lbs. We need 7000 more pounds in 1 week. There is currently approximately $1200 usd raised for the Slash AFD (Appetite for Destruction) Les Paul Special II guitar raffle (3000-3500 lbs. of food). To raise the pounds/kilos we need to raise approximately $1500 dollars before Aug 1, 2020 to reach the 27,000 pound goal. If we can reach our year-end goal in August, we could reach 50,000 pounds by January.

PLEASE HELP AND MAKE ANY DONATION YOU CAN: Give what you would at a Jamboree, or you had at all of them: Thank you in advance.
